Optimisation of the RAPeSeed Oil content anD Yield under low Nitrogen input: improving breeding of adapted varieties using genetics and genomics.
RAPSODYN has the ambition to insure long-term competitiveness of the rapeseed production through improvement of the oil yield and reduction of nitrogen inputs during the crop cycle.
RAPSODYN gathers a consortium of 16 partners including 5 breeding companies, a biotech company, a technical center and 9 public laboratories.
RAPSODYN will be run over 7.5 years (2012-2019).
The total budget of RAPSODYN is ca. 20 m€ of which 6 m€ are funded by our National Research Agency (ANR) and the French program “Investments for the Future”.
