EA/GA-IRMS (Elementar, Isoprime, Thermo)

Elemental analysers (EA) are connected to isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS) and dedicated to δ13C and δ15N analyses, together with total  C and N concentration, on plant materials, soils and gas samples, either at natural abundance or after isotope labelling (enriched samples).

Pyr/EAHT-IRMS (Eurovector, Elementar, Isoprime)

A pyrolyser and a high temperature elemental analyser are connected to an isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS) and dedicated to δ18O and δD analyses on organic matter and water samples, either at natural abundance or after isotope labelling.

LC/GC-IRMS (Dionex, Agilent, Isoprime)

A liquid chromatrography (LC) or a gas chromatography (GC)  are connected to an isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS) and dedicated to specific compound isotope analysis (δ13C and δ15N in sugars, amino acids …) in liquid samples, either at natural abundance or after isotope labelling (enriched samples).
