Objectives of the TOPWOOD project

The objectives of TOPWOOD project are to develop and test innovative tools and methods of measurement and analysis of wood basic properties.

Basic wood properties are important because they are involved in forest tree response to environmental variation and control all components of wood quality

TOPWOOD is a four-year staff exchange program between four organizations (participants) of four countries, three from the European Union (BOKU Austria, INRA France and MADERA PLUS Spain) and one third-country (INTA Argentina).
