Apterous: greenish to translucent, individuals difficult to see, blends in easily with colour of foliage
Frons sinuate with medial tubercle well marked, hairs present on head (1)
Antennae same length as body with processus terminalis fine and long (2)
Abdomen with two darker green longitudinal stripes (3), hairs present (4)
Cornicles long, cylindrical, fine and almost transparent (5)

Alate: green to yellowish
Frons sinuate with medial tubercle well marked
Antennae same length as body, fine, segment I prominent (7), numerous rhinaria on  III and IV, processus terminalis very long
Rostrum long, last segment tapering with tip pigmented prededed by a lighter patch (8) (giving the impression of having and extra segment)
Abdomen with rectangular dorsal patch slightly pigmented (9) which sometimes can be reduced to stripes
Cornicles long, cylindrical, pale (10)
