Subfamily : Eriosomatinae

These aphids secrete whitish wooly filaments on their primary host, Ulmus (elm), and aslo on the secondary hosts: Rosaceae / Amygdaloideae (apple and so on).

The morphs bear cornicles but reduced to a pore.

In the alates, the medial vein is once-branched.
