SPS - Saclay Plant Sciences
NUMBER 1 : FEBRUARY 2015
Taking these results into account, it seems that during the second period of the LabEx project (2016-2019), while continuing to support academic excellence (training and research), priority should be given to innovation-oriented activities.
First, because this is a duty for all “Investment for the future” programs, including Laboratories of Excellence. Secondly, because we believe that plant sciences could contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture, health, food and feed, green chemistry and environmental protection.

The SPS'innov open call for proposals is devoted to public-private partnerships. It will be launched at the end of February 2015. Projects may be submitted at any time during the year. The main objective of the call is to improve interactions between academic research and private partners (multinationals, SMEs and agronomic networks) to develop innovative projects displaying a high potential for adding value.
