Main research interests
My main topic is the transcriptional network controlling the switch between embryogenesis and accumulation of reserves. We aim at better understanding the quantity and quality of reserves accumulated in the seed. I am focusing on LEC2, a master regulator of seed maturation belonging to the B3 family. My work aims to determine (i) how this factor binds, or interact, with its DNA targets, in a possible complex with ABI3 and FUS3, (ii) how is this protein complex is regulated, and (iii) how LEC2 is transcriptionally and post-transcriptionally tuned.
